On Friday, December 8 at 7:00 p.m., a unique Maria Faust solo concert will take place at EKKM as part of the “Laugh of Medusa” exhibition. During an intimate concert, Faust connects her music with artworks presented in the exhibition, reflecting art in music.
Maria Faust is a saxophonist, composer, and arranger, one of the most internationally recognized Estonian jazz artists, who has connected her work with the more alternative side of jazz music. Maria Faust’s concise composition, synthesizing various styles – jazz, avant-garde, third stream jazz, improvisation – is known and appreciated on concert stages around the world.
