In 2026, EKKM celebrates its 20th season by bringing back the Köler Prize, alongside a jubilee exhibition and publication.

Köler Prize, 10.04–05.07.2026
The jubilee season opens with the Köler Prize, featuring an exhibition by five nominees (Anna Mari Liivrand, Darja Popolitova, Hanna Samoson, Keiu Maasik, Taavi Suisalu), accompanied by a film and a catalogue introducing their artistic practices. An international jury selects the winner of the €15,000 main prize, sponsored by the video game studio ZA/UM. The €5,000 audience award is sponsored by the law firm COBALT
10 April: opening of the Köler Prize exhibition
24 April: “Screen Tests for Köler Prize 2026” film premiere at the cinema Sõprus
12 June: Köler Prize gala
Jubilee exhibition, collectively curated by EKKM team, 24.07–27.09.2026
EKKM is celebrating its anniversary by inverting the museum and opening an exhibition for all visitors – regardless of their modes of communication and movement, perceptual ecologies, bodily configurations, or fur coverage – in an outdoor space open 24/7.
24 July: opening of the jubilee exhibition
4 September: jubilee party and the launch of the jubilee publication
III exhibition of the 2026 season, 09.10–13.12.2026
The season concludes with an international group exhibition that turns its gaze toward the SWANA region and brings Palestinian artists into focus. Curated by Evelyn Raudsepp.
